Covid: Second Opinion Panel reflection

Going through the pandemic while I was attending high school was very isolating. I would wake up and do zoom classes whether it was from my desk or bed and then go back to bed. I would leave my room to eat and that was about it for a good two or three weeks until my parents let me out of the house to go on walks and get fresh air. It takes a toll on your mental health when you are trapped in your house without socialization and all the activities you would do in you day to day life. I was aware that the pandemic had negative effects on citizens economically, but I did not realize how extreme it was until reading “The Real Anthony Fauci” by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. It was eye opening to read how much our country suffered as a result and that it could have been prevented and we could have been not hit as hard if we had someone else leading us through it. Both the video and the reading really shocked me with how corrupt the FDA is and how little they actually know about the virus, but publish like they do know everything. It is amazing in the worst way possible that all of these doctors can testify ways that can help patients and medicine that can help those suffering from the corona virus, but they can’t get the word out. One of my main concerns is that the hospitals are not treating patients the “correct way”. I put quotations around that because it seems as if no one actually knows what is needed for those infected to get better, but there are early treatments and drugs and breathing exercises that these doctors have seen work yet most hospitals will not allow them to preform those.
